getform-automation
Helps your agent automate Getform tasks. It can manage forms and submitted data. Useful for collecting and organizing information.
What it does
This tool helps automate tasks within Getform, a service for managing online forms. It allows you to control your forms and data programmatically.
When to use it
- ✓When you need to retrieve information from specific forms.
- ✓When wanting to automate submitting or updating form data.
- ✓To manage your Getform connections without needing to visit the website.
Example of what to ask your AI
“I want to retrieve all submissions from the form named 'Main Contact' within the last 7 days.”

How it works
The tool works by connecting to Getform through a system called Rube MCP. It first checks what actions are possible and how to perform them, then executes your requested task.
Installation
Easiest way: copy the skill link and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor asking it to follow the instructions.
In the terminal (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), in your project folder:
npx skills add ComposioHQ/awesome-claude-skills --skill getform-automationOr download just the file:

Getform Automation via Rube MCP
Automate Getform operations through Composio's Getform toolkit via Rube MCP.
Toolkit docs: composio.dev/toolkits/getform
Prerequisites
- Rube MCP must be connected (RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS available)
- Active Getform connection via
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitgetform - Always call
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSfirst to get current tool schemas
Setup
Get Rube MCP: Add https://rube.app/mcp as an MCP server in your client configuration. No API keys needed — just add the endpoint and it works.
- Verify Rube MCP is available by confirming
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSresponds - Call
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitgetform - If connection is not ACTIVE, follow the returned auth link to complete setup
- Confirm connection status shows ACTIVE before running any workflows
Tool Discovery
Always discover available tools before executing workflows:
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "Getform operations", known_fields: ""}]
session: {generate_id: true}
This returns available tool slugs, input schemas, recommended execution plans, and known pitfalls.
Core Workflow Pattern
Step 1: Discover Available Tools
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "your specific Getform task"}]
session: {id: "existing_session_id"}
Step 2: Check Connection
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS
toolkits: ["getform"]
session_id: "your_session_id"
Step 3: Execute Tools
RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL
tools: [{
tool_slug: "TOOL_SLUG_FROM_SEARCH",
arguments: {/* schema-compliant args from search results */}
}]
memory: {}
session_id: "your_session_id"
Known Pitfalls
- Always search first: Tool schemas change. Never hardcode tool slugs or arguments without calling
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS - Check connection: Verify
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSshows ACTIVE status before executing tools - Schema compliance: Use exact field names and types from the search results
- Memory parameter: Always include
memoryinRUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOLcalls, even if empty ({}) - Session reuse: Reuse session IDs within a workflow. Generate new ones for new workflows
- Pagination: Check responses for pagination tokens and continue fetching until complete

FAQ
Do I need to pay to use Getform?
The tool itself is free to use, but you need an active Getform account and must complete the connection steps for it to work.
What is Rube MCP?
Rube MCP is a system that allows the AI to interact with other tools and services, like Getform, in an automated way.
What happens if the connection fails?
If the connection to Getform is not active, the tool will provide a link for you to complete the setup and authorize access.
