multi-tenant-llm-hosting

Helps your agent design secure platforms for hosting AI models. It ensures each client has isolated space, with usage controls and security policies.

What it does

This tool allows multiple teams or customers to use the same artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure securely and in a controlled manner. It ensures each has its own resources, limits, and usage policies, preventing interference between them.

When to use it

  • ✓When offering AI services to different clients.
  • ✓When managing AI usage by various internal teams.
  • ✓When needing to control costs and performance per user or group.

Example of what to ask your AI

“How can I set usage limits for the 'alpha' team?”

How it works

The tool separates AI access and resources for each client using unique identifiers and specific configurations. It monitors usage to ensure each client's limits are respected and to control costs.

Installation

Easiest way: copy the skill link and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor asking it to follow the instructions.

Multi-Tenant LLM Hosting

Host many teams/customers on shared inference infrastructure without sacrificing security, performance, or cost governance.

Prerequisites

  • Kubernetes cluster with GPU node pools
  • API gateway or LLM gateway (LiteLLM, Envoy, Kong)
  • Prometheus + Grafana for per-tenant observability
  • Redis or equivalent for rate limiting state
  • Billing system or cost attribution database

Isolation Model

  • Strong tenant identity on every request
  • Per-tenant API keys and scoped model access
  • Namespace or workload isolation for high-risk tenants
  • Strict data retention and log partitioning controls

FAQ

What does 'multi-tenant' mean?

It means a single system (in this case, AI) can serve multiple clients or groups simultaneously, but in an isolated way, as if each had their own system.

How is security ensured?

Each client has its own access keys, and data is kept separate. For higher-risk clients, even more isolated environments can be created.

Is it possible to control how much each one spends?

Yes, the tool allows setting daily and monthly budgets, as well as usage limits, and can alert when these limits are close to being reached.
