parseur-automation
Lets your agent grab data from websites without manual input. It's useful for collecting information on an ongoing basis. This ensures you have up-to-date data.
What it does
This tool helps you automate tasks in Parseur, a service that extracts information from emails and documents. It uses a system called Rube MCP to connect and perform these tasks.
When to use it
- ✓When you need to automatically extract data from multiple emails.
- ✓When you want to organize information received via email into spreadsheets or other systems.
- ✓To process documents arriving by email without manual intervention.
Example of what to ask your AI
“I want to extract the 'invoice' and 'date' values from all emails received today and save them to a spreadsheet.”

How to use
The easiest way: copy the message below and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any AI. It reads the skill and follows the instructions.

How it works
First, the tool checks which Parseur commands are available. Then, it ensures your Parseur account is connected. Finally, it executes the command you requested, using the information it found.
Installation
Easiest way: copy the skill link and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor asking it to follow the instructions.
In the terminal (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), in your project folder:

Parseur Automation via Rube MCP
Automate Parseur operations through Composio's Parseur toolkit via Rube MCP.
Toolkit docs: composio.dev/toolkits/parseur
Prerequisites
- Rube MCP must be connected (RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS available)
- Active Parseur connection via
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitparseur - Always call
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSfirst to get current tool schemas
Setup
Get Rube MCP: Add https://rube.app/mcp as an MCP server in your client configuration. No API keys needed — just add the endpoint and it works.
- Verify Rube MCP is available by confirming
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSresponds - Call
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitparseur - If connection is not ACTIVE, follow the returned auth link to complete setup
- Confirm connection status shows ACTIVE before running any workflows
Tool Discovery
Always discover available tools before executing workflows:
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "Parseur operations", known_fields: ""}]
session: {generate_id: true}
This returns available tool slugs, input schemas, recommended execution plans, and known pitfalls.
Core Workflow Pattern
Step 1: Discover Available Tools
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "your specific Parseur task"}]
session: {id: "existing_session_id"}
Step 2: Check Connection
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS
toolkits: ["parseur"]
session_id: "your_session_id"
Step 3: Execute Tools
RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL
tools: [{
tool_slug: "TOOL_SLUG_FROM_SEARCH",
arguments: {/* schema-compliant args from search results */}
}]
memory: {}
session_id: "your_session_id"
Known Pitfalls
- Always search first: Tool schemas change. Never hardcode tool slugs or arguments without calling
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS - Check connection: Verify
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSshows ACTIVE status before executing tools - Schema compliance: Use exact field names and types from the search results
- Memory parameter: Always include
memoryinRUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOLcalls, even if empty ({}) - Session reuse: Reuse session IDs within a workflow. Generate new ones for new workflows
- Pagination: Check responses for pagination tokens and continue fetching until complete

FAQ
What is Rube MCP?
It's a system that allows the AI to connect to other tools and services, like Parseur, to perform tasks.
Do I need any special keys or passwords?
No, you just need to set up Rube MCP in your AI client. The connection to Parseur is made through an authorization link.
What happens if the tool doesn't find what I need?
The tool always looks for the latest information on how to use Parseur. If something changes, it will try to adapt. It's important to always search for available tools before executing a task.
