accelo-automation
Helps your agent automate tasks in Accelo. This saves time and reduces errors in repetitive processes.
What it does
This tool automates tasks within Accelo, a project and client management system. It uses a system called Rube MCP to connect and perform these actions.
When to use it
- ✓When you need to create a new ticket in Accelo.
- ✓When you want to update client information in Accelo.
- ✓When you need to retrieve specific project data from Accelo.
Example of what to ask your AI
“Create a new ticket in Accelo for client 'Company X' with the subject 'Login issue' and description 'User cannot access the platform'.”

How to use
The easiest way: copy the message below and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any AI. It reads the skill and follows the instructions.

How it works
First, the tool checks which commands are available in Accelo. Then, it connects to your Accelo account and executes your requested command, ensuring everything is done correctly.
Installation
Easiest way: copy the skill link and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor asking it to follow the instructions.
In the terminal (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), in your project folder:
npx skills add ComposioHQ/awesome-claude-skills --skill accelo-automationOr download just the file:

Accelo Automation via Rube MCP
Automate Accelo operations through Composio's Accelo toolkit via Rube MCP.
Toolkit docs: composio.dev/toolkits/accelo
Prerequisites
- Rube MCP must be connected (RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS available)
- Active Accelo connection via
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitaccelo - Always call
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSfirst to get current tool schemas
Setup
Get Rube MCP: Add https://rube.app/mcp as an MCP server in your client configuration. No API keys needed — just add the endpoint and it works.
- Verify Rube MCP is available by confirming
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLSresponds - Call
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSwith toolkitaccelo - If connection is not ACTIVE, follow the returned auth link to complete setup
- Confirm connection status shows ACTIVE before running any workflows
Tool Discovery
Always discover available tools before executing workflows:
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "Accelo operations", known_fields: ""}]
session: {generate_id: true}
This returns available tool slugs, input schemas, recommended execution plans, and known pitfalls.
Core Workflow Pattern
Step 1: Discover Available Tools
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS
queries: [{use_case: "your specific Accelo task"}]
session: {id: "existing_session_id"}
Step 2: Check Connection
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS
toolkits: ["accelo"]
session_id: "your_session_id"
Step 3: Execute Tools
RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL
tools: [{
tool_slug: "TOOL_SLUG_FROM_SEARCH",
arguments: {/* schema-compliant args from search results */}
}]
memory: {}
session_id: "your_session_id"
Known Pitfalls
- Always search first: Tool schemas change. Never hardcode tool slugs or arguments without calling
RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS - Check connection: Verify
RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONSshows ACTIVE status before executing tools - Schema compliance: Use exact field names and types from the search results
- Memory parameter: Always include
memoryinRUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOLcalls, even if empty ({}) - Session reuse: Reuse session IDs within a workflow. Generate new ones for new workflows
- Pagination: Check responses for pagination tokens and continue fetching until complete

| Operation | Approach |

FAQ
Do I need a special password to use it?
No, you only need to set up the Accelo connection once. The tool handles authentication.
What is Rube MCP?
Rube MCP is a system that helps the AI find and use available tools, like those for Accelo, in an organized way.
What if I ask for something Accelo can't do?
The tool first checks what is possible within Accelo. If your request isn't compatible, it will inform you that the task cannot be performed.
