ai-pipeline-orchestration

Helps your agent organize complex AI workflows. It manages data collection, model training, and indexing so everything runs smoothly.

What it does

This tool helps organize and automate sequences of artificial intelligence (AI) tasks. It allows you to define complex workflows, such as collecting data, training models, and processing information in batches, ensuring everything happens in the right order and reliably.

When to use it

  • ✓Schedule automatic document updates for AI systems.
  • ✓Create a process to analyze large volumes of text with AI.
  • ✓Automate AI model training or evaluation regularly.

Example of what to ask your AI

“How can I set up a process to automatically update the documents my AI uses to answer questions, every day at 2 AM?”

Ready-to-paste message

Use this skill to help me: https://github.com/sickn33/agentic-awesome-skills/blob/main/plugins/agentic-awesome-skills-claude/skills/ai-pipeline-orchestration/SKILL.md Read the SKILL.md file at that link and follow its instructions for my task.
How it works

You define the steps of your AI workflow using code and choose a tool (like Prefect, Airflow, or Dagster) to manage its execution. The tool handles running tasks in the correct order, dealing with failures, and scheduling when they should happen.

Installation

Easiest way: copy the skill link and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor asking it to follow the instructions.

In the terminal (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), in your project folder:

npx skills add sickn33/agentic-awesome-skills --skill ai-pipeline-orchestration

Or download just the file:

curl -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sickn33/agentic-awesome-skills/main/plugins/agentic-awesome-skills-claude/skills/ai-pipeline-orchestration/SKILL.md -o SKILL.md

AI Pipeline Orchestration

Build reliable, observable AI workflows — from document ingestion to batch inference to model training pipelines.

When to Use This Skill

Use this skill when:

  • Scheduling recurring RAG document ingestion and re-indexing
  • Orchestrating multi-step batch LLM processing workflows
  • Running nightly model evaluation and fine-tuning jobs
  • Building ETL pipelines that feed into AI models
  • Managing dependencies between data preparation and model serving

Execution contract

These are application design fragments: adapters, datasets, model files, secrets, vector schemas and deployment handlers are not bundled. Pin supported framework/provider versions, select the actual target and permissions, and authorize schedules, provider charges and writes separately. Use synthetic fixtures first; preserve private data, validate fetched sources, and persist versioned checkpoints to avoid repeating side effects.

Tool Selection

Tool Best For Complexity GPU Jobs
Prefect Modern Python-first; easy to adopt Low Good
Airflow Complex DAGs; large teams; existing usage High Good
Dagster Asset-centric; strong data lineage Medium Excellent
Temporal Long-running workflows; reliability-first Medium Good

Prefect — Quick Start

pip install prefect prefect-kubernetes

# Start Prefect server (or use Prefect Cloud)
prefect server start

# In another terminal

FAQ

What tools can I use to orchestrate my AI workflows?

You can use Prefect (more modern and easy to start with), Airflow (for complex workflows and large teams), Dagster (data-centric and traceable), or Temporal (for long-running, reliable workflows).

What is 'RAG indexing'?

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is a technique where AI retrieves information from a database (like documents) before generating a response. 'Indexing' is the process of preparing and organizing these documents so the AI can find them quickly.

Do I need to know how to code to use this?

Yes, this tool requires you to write code to define your AI workflows. It is intended for developers or technically knowledgeable individuals.
