When to use it

  • ✓When you need to organize project tasks.
  • ✓To visualize a team's progress.
  • ✓When planning a 'sprint' or work cycle.

Kanban Board Skill

Produce a single-screen kanban board.

Workflow

  1. Read the active DESIGN.md.
  2. Identify squad name, sprint number, columns, and member roster from the brief.
  3. Layout:
    • Top bar: project crumb, sprint chip, filter row (members, labels, status), search.
    • 4 columns: Backlog, In progress, In review, Done. Each column has a count chip and an "+ add" affordance.
    • 3–6 cards per column. Each card: tag chip, title, assignee avatar, point estimate, progress (if applicable).
    • Sidebar (collapsible feel): "Sprint pulse" with progress bar, top assignees, blocked-tickets callout.
  4. One inline <style>, semantic HTML.

Output contract

<artifact identifier="kanban-board" type="text/html" title="Sprint Board">
<!doctype html>...</artifact>
FAQ

What are 'squads' and 'sprints'?

'Squad' is a term for a small, cross-functional team. 'Sprint' is a short period of time (usually 1-4 weeks) where the team works to complete a set of tasks.

What are 'swimlanes'?

In the original description, 'swimlanes' refer to horizontal rows that can separate tasks by team member or category, but this simplified version might not explicitly include them.

What does 'draggable-looking cards' mean?

It means the task cards on the board look like they can be dragged and dropped between columns, similar to tools like Trello.
