reverse-skill-router
Lets your agent perform reverse engineering and security analysis. It's useful for defensive testing and understanding how programs work internally.
What it does
This tool helps analyze and understand computer programs, especially for security purposes. It uses a set of instructions called 'reverse-skill' to guide the analysis.
When to use it
- ✓When you need to investigate a suspicious program.
- ✓To participate in security competitions (CTFs).
- ✓When performing tests to find security flaws.
Example of what to ask your AI
“Analyze this program to find security vulnerabilities.”

How to use
The easiest way: copy the message below and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any AI. It reads the skill and follows the instructions.

How it works
The tool checks if the 'reverse-skill' repository is accessible. If it is, it reads the rules, selects the main instruction, and follows the detailed steps to analyze the program, ensuring actions are authorized.
Installation
Easiest way: copy the skill link and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor asking it to follow the instructions.
In the terminal (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), in your project folder:
npx skills add zhaoxuya520/reverse-skill --skill reverse-skill-routerOr download just the file:
curl -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/zhaoxuya520/reverse-skill/main/plugins/reverse-skill/skills/reverse-skill-router/SKILL.md -o SKILL.mdTechnical content (original SKILL.md)

Reverse Skill Codex adapter
This plugin is an optional Codex entry point. The repository remains the canonical, client-neutral implementation.
When the current workspace is the reverse-skill repository:
- Read
RULES.mdat the repository root. - Run the platform-native
skills/scripts/master-routeentry with the user's task to select the PRIMARY skill fromskills/config/routing.json. - Before any target action, create and validate
work/<case>/scope.mdwith the platform-nativecase-initandcase-guardscripts. - Open the selected
skills/<PRIMARY>/SKILL.mdand follow its task-specific instructions. - Resolve tools only through the generated
skills/tool-index.md; do not register MCP servers or install tools unless the user requested that action.
If the repository is not the current workspace and no local repository path was supplied, explain that this adapter does not bundle a second copy of the router. Ask the user to open or clone https://github.com/zhaoxuya520/reverse-skill and then continue from its RULES.md.
Do not treat the presence of this plugin, a target name, or a sample path as authorization. Authorization comes from the repository's scope contract.
FAQ
What is 'reverse engineering'?
It's the process of taking apart a system or program to understand how it works, often for security or learning purposes.
What is a CTF?
CTF stands for 'Capture The Flag,' a competition where participants solve computer security challenges.
What happens if the 'reverse-skill' repository is not available?
The tool will inform you that you need to download or open the 'reverse-skill' repository and follow its instructions.
